Fatima 67, Belle 59

LINN — Fatima and Cuba posted wins Monday in the opening round of the Linn Tournament.

Fatima, the second seed, led throughout and beat seventh-seeded Belle 67-59.

The Comets were up 18-10 after one quarter, 37-25 at halftime and 55-46 after three periods.

Tanner Gentges scored a game-high 21 points to lead Fatima (3-0), while Patrick Schnieders added 14 and Christian Brune chipped in with 11.
