Celebration to mark work of Habitat volunteers
Sunday, December 4, 2011
With its 70th local project under way and heading into its 20th year in Jefferson City, River City Habitat for Humanity is hosting a celebration.
At 3 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, 201 Monroe St., “A Home for the Holidays” will feature compelling stories from homeowners and volunteers.
Community churches, choirs and musicians will bring Christmas sounds. And cookies and cider will round out the afternoon.
