Sheriff’s fuel budget questioned

Commissioners, sheriff to discuss shortfall in account

Cole County commissioners and Sheriff Greg White plan to meet this week to address concerns the commissioners have raised on credit card bills coming from the sheriff’s department.

According to county records, the sheriff’s department owed approximately $30,000 in fuel charges.

Because of this, White’s department has run out of money in their fuel budget for the year, and is asking to dip into reserves to pay for it.

Guess its all about perspective - i personally did not conclude he stole anything. I interpreted your words as a joke b/c I have a different perspective on the situation. Wasn't there- don't know The Truth - one thing for sure - we know who does know The Truth. I have learned to hold judgement on several things - one of the worst things that can happpen to a person is to be blamed for something they are totally innocent of. It can have very serious consequences. A lot of times the masquarade looks just like The Truth. The Truth usually comes out somehow, someway. John Edwards is an example. I recall watching the Nightline interview. He said allllllllllllllllllllll the right things..... and did it soooooo well. maybe he can be nominated for one of Hollywood's awards, he was sooo good. Of course, there were probably people who saw right through him even then. Maybe you were one of them
