Final touches continue on new Cole County Jail

Although parts of the Cole County Law Enforcement Center have been open for a few weeks, workers continue to put the finishing touches on the new jail.

Septagon’s Mike Smith, the jail project manager, said Monday they are working with the sheriff’s department to make minor adjustments and changes to fine-tune the facility to meet the operational needs of the department.
