"We took our other two cars to the (Ol' Marais River show) in Ottawa, Kan., recently," the Versailles resident said. "So I figured I'd take the Camaro here. Plus, the Camaro is "our' car."

Like Campbell, spectators to the three-day event, which lasts through Sunday, will see a variety of classic, custom and muscle vehicles, trucks and motorcycles lined up and down Bagnell Dam Strip.

Put on by the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the Street Meet is the largest show of this kind in Central Missouri and keeps growing.

Admission is free, and the public is welcome to attend. Various parking lots will be available at either end of the Strip, offering spectators the convenience of daily parking for a minimal donation to their youth organizations.

Free shuttles will be running throughout the show for guests' ease in enjoying the entire Street Meet.
