Lincoln rallies for twinbill split with Missouri Southern

JOPLIN, Mo. — The Lincoln baseball team used a ninth-inning outburst to win the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader with Missouri Southern to salvage a split.

Three Lincoln pitchers combined to limit the Lions to just seven hits in the 6-4 victory.

In the seven-inning opener, Lincoln managed just three hits, two of them off the bat of Belt, and dropped a 4-0 decision.
