Reading is fun. And if you ask Amanda Galloway, getting kids excited in reading is as simple as letting them see their parents read.

“If your child sees you excited about reading, they will also get excited,” she said.

Galloway, coordinator of the Missouri River Regional Library’s summer program Reading Buddies, said she has been a life-long reader.
