COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City boys and girls sophomore and freshman track and field teams competed Tuesday at the Columbia Relays.
The sophomore boys' team won the team title, while the freshman girls captured first. The sophomore girls' team finished second, along with the freshman boys' team.
Mervyn John was a triple-winner for the freshman boys team, taking first in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles and the triple jump. Monique Townson was a triple-winner on the freshman girls' team in the long jump, triple jump and 100-meter hurdles.
