Lincoln women win meet, set records

FAYETTE, Mo. — The Lincoln women’s track team set records and posted top finishes all around the track while taking the title in the Asics/ Breast Cancer Awareness Invitational that took place Saturday at Central Methodist University.

The Blue Tigers won the 20-team event with 149 points, leaving behind second-place Truman State, which had 94.5.

Lincoln claimed spots 1-4 in the 400-meter hurdles, led by Keniesha Jones, who set a track record while winning in 59.29.
