What began as a backyard barbecue at the home of Don and Ruth Ann Schnieders culminated in a sold-out benefit dinner Tuesday at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.

The pro-life organization founded in Jefferson City by Carl Landwehr has grown into an international resource for mass media messages, sharing information about free abortion alternatives to women.

Keynote speaker for this year’s annual event was nationally syndicated conservative radio show host Laura Ingraham.
