3 arrested in Columbia death before MU game

COLUMBIA (AP) - Three men have been arrested in the shooting death of a man who was in Columbia to watch the Missouri-Oklahoma football game.

The victim, Aaron Hobson, was a cousin of Missouri football player Trey Hobson.

Columbia police say Aaron Hobson was shot Saturday during a robbery attempt at a convenience store.

Police said in a news release that 27-year-old Tony L. Lewis, of Boonville, and 19-year-old Leo D. Roland, of Columbia, were arrested Saturday and have been charged with second-degree murder and first-degree robbery. Twenty-year-old Deshon Joseph Houston, of Columbia, was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree murder and seconddegree burglary. Bond for all three men was set at $1 million each.

Columbia police are looking for two other suspects.

Hobson graduated from Wichita Heights High School and most recently had lived in the Kansas City suburb of Mission.
