Jays set to open season tonight at Lebanon

The Jefferson City Jays know it's a long way until the state wrestling tournament.

"We're going to take our time, it's all practice until February," Jays coach Phil Cagle said as Jefferson City prepared for tonight's opener at Lebanon. "We're constantly evaluating, we want to do whatever we can to make our kids better."

After tonight's opener, the Jays are off until Dec. 10-11 in the Missouri Duals at Helias before opening their home schedule Dec. 15 against the Crusaders.
