What happens when the Jolly Old Elf himself has been accused of being naughty?

In Scene One Theatre's new production, "The Eight Reindeer: Monologues," all but one of Santa's reindeer are left to sort out the mess when Vixen accuses Santa of, um, misconduct. The kind of misconduct that could put you in the slammer.

The show is based on playwright Jeff Goode's edgy play that's strictly intended for adults. The eight cast members, playing each of the reindeer except Rudolph, give monologues that discuss the alleged crime and whether they're going to fulfill their most important task - the Christmas night run to deliver toys.

Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1-2, 9:30 p.m. Dec. 3 (after Living Windows), and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4. Tickets can be bought at the door, but ordering advance tickets is advisable by calling 573/681-9199.

Tickets are $10, except for opening night, which is half price.
