Students help clean up cemeteries

Ninth-graders from Simonsen help remove overgrown periwinkle vine from a family plot Thursday at the old cemeteries on East McCarty. About 140 students from the school’s Characterplus program and H.O.P.E. club took advantage of Thursday’s cool weather as they joined forces to spruce up the area.
