If you’re going to make your living as a basketball coach, you’re going to spend so much more time at practice than in games. Luckily for Nicole Collier, that’s right up her alley.
“I loved practice when I was a played and I still love coming to practice,” said Collier, who’s entering her second season as assistant women’s coach at Lincoln University. “When I was a player, I got fired up for practice.”
It paid off, as Collier was a two-time All-American at Jefferson College in Hillsboro and then a two-time All-American at Missouri Western State University. She’s trying to bring that love of hard work to the Blue Tigers.
