I guess this comes under the heading of just a coincidence but I live not too far from the site of this robbery and about 5:15 PM this afternoon, I'm pretty sure I heard at least 2 handgun shots in our neighborhood. Almost immediately afterward I heard numerous sirens but it was almost immediately after the shots, so I can't imagine they were responding THAT fast.
Scary times.

I see now there is a news story on KRCG's website that the Police responded to a "shots fired" call yesterday afternoon around 5:15 at the Ellis Blvd apartments, and took somebody into custody. But they say it's unrelated to the robbery.

I live across from this young lady. She is often found on backpage. I'm sure she didn't inform the police of that information. I see the traffic she tends to have in and out of there. It's quite obvious.
