Some families went for the Halloween alternatives, while others trick-or-treated or selected the more spooky events on Sunday.
At First Baptist Church, an estimated 175-200 children were at the annual Fall Fun for Families, an annual event for the past 13 or 14 years. At the Jefferson City Police Department, the police teamed with the department’s Venturer crew to turn a corridor of the building into a “haunted precinct.”
