Russellville girls to take on Harrisburg

The Russellville Lady Indians have played some of the top competition Mid-Missouri has to offer. And it’s only one month into the season.

“We’ve played a pretty tough schedule,” Russellville coach Mitch Gier said as the Lady Indians (4-5) prepared for Monday’s game against Harrisburg in the Missouri National Guard Shootout at Jefferson City High School.

“It’s been kind of a struggle for us at times to find leaders and to play a complete four quarters,” said Gier, who pointed to Monday night’s game at California, another Shootout participant, as a good example.
