NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - Brittney Griner scored 18 points in 21 minutes to lead No. 2 Baylor to an 82-40 rout of Clemson on Monday night in the Sunsplash Shootout.

Makenzie Robertson added 13 points for the Lady Bears (11-1), who will play No. 23 Syracuse on Tuesday night.

With the game tied 6-6, Baylor closed the half with a 32-12 run to take control of the game.

The Lady Bears held Clemson (6-6) to a season-low 27 percent from the field and held the Tigers to just 13 field goals. Baylor's size was a critical factor in Clemson's season-high 27 three-point attempts, as the Lady Tigers struggled to get the ball on the interior.

The 6-foot-8 Griner's presence was felt despite her not blocking a shot for only the second time in her career. Clemson scored just six points in the lane.

Sthefany Thomas scored 15 points to lead Clemson, which has dropped its last four games.

No. 14 Iowa 75, Drake 71

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Kachine Alexander scored a season-high 26 points and No. 14 Iowa snuck past Drake to give coach Lisa Bulder her 200th win with the Hawkeyes.

Kamille Wahlin and Jaime Printy each added 13 for Iowa (11-1), which blew an 11-point lead but recovered for its ninth straight win over the Bulldogs.

Drake's Angela Christianson grabbed a loose ball and converted a 3-point play to tie the game at 71 with 1:10 left. But Kamille Wahlin answered with a layup, and Kristin Turk front-rimmed a 3 with 7 seconds left that would have brought the Bulldogs even.

The Bulldogs had nine steals in the first half and took a surprising 39-33 lead into the break. Iowa answered with a 28-11 run to start the second half.

Rachel Hackbarth had 27 points for Drake (5-5), which fell to 0-2 against ranked teams. The Bulldogs lost at No. 21 Iowa State 64-46 on Nov. 15.

No. 17 Notre Dame 94, Valparaiso 43

VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) - Natalie Novosel scored 18 points while Natalie Achonwa and Brittany Mallory added 12 apiece to help Notre Dame easily beat Valparaiso.

Notre Dame (9-3) had 23 steals and led by as many as 50 in the second half.

The Irish, who have a tradition of slow starts against the Crusaders, jumped out to a 10-2 lead at the first media time out and never looked back.

They built the lead to 34-11 with 6:45 left in the first half before subbing liberally.

Novosel and Mallory had 10 points each at halftime for Notre Dame, which also recorded 14 steals and four blocked shots at the intermission.

The second half was more of the same as the Irish built their lead to over 50 with five minutes to go.

Stefanie Lang scored 11 points to lead the Crusaders (2-9).

No. 21 Iowa State 93, Cal State Northridge 47

AMES, Iowa (AP) - Kelsey Bolte scored 16 points and Iowa State held winless Cal State Northridge to five field goals in the first half en route to an easy victory.

Chelsea Poppens added a season-high 15 points, Hallie Christofferson scored 14 and Lauren Mansfield handed out 10 assists for the Cyclones (8-2), who overwhelmed the Matadors (0-12) with their size and shooting.

Iowa State shot 64 percent in racing to a 51-15 halftime lead, outscored Northridge 44-10 in the paint and finished with a 53-24 rebounding edge. The 93 points were a season high for the Cyclones, who won their 54th straight regular-season nonconference game at home.

Iowa State came in as one of the nation's top defensive teams, holding opponents to 49.3 points and 31 percent shooting, and the Matadors didn't do anything to hurt those numbers.

They missed 17 of their first 18 shots and shot 29 percent (17-for-58) for the game. Jasmine Erving led Northridge with 21 points, 17 in the second half.
