PITTSBURGH (AP) - Evgeni Malkin tied a career high with five points, Sidney Crosby extended his scoring streak to 21 games with a goal and two assists and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Phoenix Coyotes 6-1 on Monday night.
Kris Letang had a goal and an assist and Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 saves for Pittsburgh, which won for the first time in three games since having a 12-game winning streak snapped.
Malkin, who had three goals in two games since returning from missing four contests due to a knee injury, had two goals and three assists Monday - all within the first 27:21 of the game.
Crosby's point streak is the longest in the NHL this season and one short of the longest since the 2004-05 lockout.
Malkin's five points matched the most by any player in the NHL this season, done six times previously.
Panthers 5, Flyers 0
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Tomas Vokoun earned his fourth shutout of the season and rookie Evgeny Dadonov had a goal and an assist to lead Florida to an easy win over Philadelphia.
Bill Thomas, Shawn Matthias, Mike Santorelli and Dmitry Kulikov also scored for the Panthers, who won for the fifth time in seven games and stopped the NHL's top team.
The Flyers lost in regulation for the first time since being shut out by Boston on Dec. 1, a rare hiccup during a month in which they had secured 15 of a possible 18 points through their previous nine games, streaking to a league-leading 22 wins and 49 points. Philadelphia entered having won seven of eight.
Vokoun made 26 saves for his 42nd career shutout and first against the Flyers in 17 starts.
Thrashers 6, Maple Leafs 3
TORONTO (AP) - Tobias Enstrom had two goals and two assists, Fredrik Modin scored twice against his former team and Atlanta beat Toronto.
Anthony Stewart also scored and Andrew Ladd had an empty-net goal for the Thrashers, who moved past Washington for first place in the Southeast Division. The surprising Thrashers have picked up at least a point in 14 of their last 16 games.
Mikhail Grabovski scored for the fourth game in a row as part of a brief third-period Maple Leafs rally that ultimately fell short.
John Mitchell and Nikolai Kulemin also scored for Toronto.
Ducks 3, Bruins 0
BOSTON (AP) - Jonas Hiller stopped 45 shots for his second shutout of the season and Brandon McMillan had his first career multipoint game to lead Anaheim over Boston.
It was the eighth shutout of Hiller's career. Lubomir Visnovsky and Corey Perry also scored and Teemu Selanne had two assists.
Tim Thomas stopped 22 shots for Boston. He fell to 15-4-3 on the season, with three of the four regulation losses coming in games when the Bruins were shut out.
McMillan, a rookie, doubled his career totals with one goal and one assist. He gave the Ducks the lead when he slammed home the rebound of Luca Sbisa's shot less than 6 minutes into the game.
Lightning 5, Hurricanes 1
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Steven Stamkos scored his 26th goal this season and the 100th of his career, leading Tampa Bay past Carolina for its fourth straight victory.
Stamkos had one of three Lightning goals late in the second period that put Tampa Bay ahead 5-1. The center's milestone goal came in his 194th NHL game.
Dominic Moore, Martin St. Louis, Randy Clark and Sean Bergenheim also scored for the Lightning. Tampa Bay is 10-2-2 at home.
Sergei Samsonov had the Carolina goal. Hurricanes backup goalie Justin Peters started in place of Cam Ward, who missed the game due to a mild infection on his forehead.
Canucks 3, Blues 1
ST. LOUIS (AP) - Aaron Volpatti scored his first career goal and Ryan Kesler had his fourth in three games as the surging Vancouver Canucks beat St. Louis.
Jeff Tambellini scored a late power-play goal, Mikael Samuelsson had two assists and Roberto Luongo stopped 15 shots to earn his 13th career victory against the Blues in 22 games. Vancouver improved to 9-1-1 in its last 11 games.
Alex Steen scored for the Blues, his third goal in two games this season against the Canucks. St. Louis has one win in its last five games.
Wild 4, Flames 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Martin Havlat had a goal and an assist and Niklas Backstrom stopped 34 shots to help Minnesota defeat Calgary.
Kyle Brodziak, John Madden and Cal Clutterbuck also scored for the Wild, who beat the Flames for the second time in three nights. Backstrom is 7-1-1 in his past nine games.
The Wild hadn't scored a power-play goal in more than a month but had two in the third period on Monday.
