CAMPO will give Holts Summit funds for sidewalks

At Wednesday afternoon’s Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) meeting, the city of Holts Summit was awarded more than $316,000 to build sidewalks from North Elementary School along South Summit Drive to Highway OO.

Holts Summit City Administrator Brian Crane said the project, which should begin construction in the fall of 2011, will do a good job of linking other projects in the city, including a portion of sidewalk that was built through the Safe Routes to Schools Program.
