Missouri man accused of killing brother

BLACK, Mo. (AP) - An eastern Missouri man is facing second-degree murder charges in the drowning death of his brother.

Iron County authorities said Tuesday that 44-year-old Dennis Eugene Lampe of rural Black is accused in the death of his brother, Martin Lampe. Martin Lampe's body was found Friday in a pond in a rural area.

Police believe Dennis Lampe held his brother under the water until he died. A possible motive was not disclosed.

Dennis Lampe is jailed on $750,000 cash-only bond and did not yet have an attorney, according to Casenet, Missouri's online court reporting system.
