No break for Baylor's Dunn

X-rays confirmed Friday that Baylor guard LaceDarius Dunn has only a bruised left forearm.

Dunn was injured when he fell to the floor while going for a rebound in the 11th-ranked Bears' victory Thursday night over Arizona State. He came out of the game only briefly despite being in obvious pain.

After the game, Dunn said he was hurting and hoping nothing was broken or fractured.

Dunn scored 24 points, making all of his six 3-pointers before getting hurt with 6:43 left. He returned about two minutes later.

Dunn was suspended the first three games for Baylor (6-0). He averaged 22.7 points with 16 3-pointers since coming back.

While going for an offensive rebound, and being called for a foul, Dunn fell hard and was on the court writhing in pain. He went to the bench and was still rubbing his arm and grimacing after getting back into the game.

Dunn should benefit from the extended break the Bears have next week due to exams.
