Residency bill

This bill would extend residency requirements of certain Jefferson City department directors.

JC Transit Development Plan

The March 15, 2006, final report of the Jefferson City Transportation Development Plan. The plan, which was prepared at a cost of $150,000, outlined the transit system as it existed in 2006 and a series of recommendations for how to improve the system. A majority of the recommendations were never implemented, largely because of a lack of resources.

April sales tax report

The sales tax report for April shows the 1 percent general sales tax came in $74,988 below projections. The city recently lowered their sales tax projections for the year when it became apparent they would not be met. The month’s receipts have put the total shortfall for the 1 percent sales tax at $59,436.

The 1 percent sales tax revenues for March for Jefferson City. The March receipts came in $15,552 above projections.

Lodging tax revenues

The January 2013 lodging tax report for Jefferson City. The city’s lodging tax collections were reported at $1.788 million from May 2011 to January 2013.
