HESTER
John R. Hester, 82, of Springfield, formerly of Dixon, died Monday, May 22, 2023.
He was born August 4, 1940, a son of Dr. John R. and Florence (Poor) Hester.
Survivors include: His children, Joshua Hester, Tara Farrell and Kari Lewis; and two grandchildren, Jocelyn and Garrett.
Visitation from 11 a.m. until 12 noon service time all on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon. Interment with military honors in the Dixon Cemetery.
