Alan McCullough

Alan McCullough, age 53, of Holts Summit, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at his home. Alan was born on March 8, 1970, in Hannibal, Mo., the son of Charles Edward McCullough and Connie Brown. After finishing high school, Alan went on to attend a couple of technical colleges eventually becoming a diesel mechanic. The last few years he worked for American Plastics and had moved up to be a forklift operator. Alan loved fishing and being outdoors. His passion was muscle cars and traveling with his brother Charles to auto shows and they loved working on their cars together. Sometimes he would enjoy just sitting down and watching his favorite show Counting Cars. He enjoyed family outings and barbecues and was known as the "Great Uncle"! And most of all he loved his children. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Charles E McCullough II and Justin Semkin; a son, Alan J.R. McCullough; two daughters, Alex Elizabeth McCullough and Beth Brooke McCullough. He was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Semkin. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at Grand View Funeral Home, Hannibal. Rev. Bruce Bouman will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park. A visitation celebrating Alan's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday March 24, 2023 at the Grand View Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Justin Semkin, Jade McCullough, Ryan McCullough, James Harvey, Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral costs, in care of Grand View Funeral Home.
