Gerald James Dulle

Gerald James "Jerry" Dulle, age 59, of California, Mo., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Moniteau Care Center. Jerry was born on September 25, 1962, in St. Louis, Mo., a son of William Joseph and Marcella Ann (Starke) Dulle. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Jerry was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. Jerry worked for the Sheltered Workshop in Kirksville, Mo. as an assembler. Jerry had a laid back and easy-going way about him. He was friendly and simply put, he was loved by all who knew him. Jerry was an intelligent man and had an astounding ability to recall long past memories and seemed to lock away information like an encyclopedia. Some of his favorite memories as a child were spending summers at the Lake of the Ozarks going swimming and water skiing and exploring the country at his grandparent's home. In his adult life, Jerry found joy in driving to soak in the scenery. No distance was too far for him. He would turn the radio up, listen to his favorite music, and enjoy his time taking in everything around him. Survivors include: his soulmate of 23 years, Jewell Diane George of California, Mo.; his siblings, Thomas Dulle of St. Louis, Mo. and Darlene Bushart of Washington, Pa.; and a large extended family including loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Martin Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Jason Doke officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at St. Martin's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
