Ronnie G. Childs

Ronnie G. Childs, 79, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022, with his family at his side. He was born on February 28, 1943, a son of the late Estiel and Julia (Vinson) Childs. Ronnie was united in marriage to Victoria Minor on May 12, 1962, in Jefferson City. He was a 1961 graduate of Lincoln Laboratory High School. Ronnie worked for Ameren UE for 39 years and retired in November of 2001. He enjoyed watching sports and YouTube videos on trains and RVs, cooking, barbequing (of course!) and promoting "RC's Finest" BBQ sauce. Ronnie was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Victoria; son, Ronald; daughters, Andrea (Richard) and Carmela; and granddaughter, Ashley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria; brother, Carl Jones and sister, Aldonia Lee. Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memoriam can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
