He was born in Rolla, Missouri, on March 5, 1966, and left this world surrounded by a family who loved him and are sustained by years of rich memories with him. Todd graduated from Waynesville Senior High in 1984 and received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Administration (1988) from Columbia College and in Accounting (1995) from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was a graduate of the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training Academy and held a Class A Peace Officer License. He was employed by the Missouri Department of Public Safety for many years and held several positions including serving as senior auditor and agent enforcing liquor and tobacco laws of the State. He loved the outdoors and cherished time camping, fishing, and spending time in nature with friends and family. He loved motorcycles and even after a severe accident in 2008 still recalled riding with great fondness. He was an animal lover and after the loss of his beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Bogey, is survived by loving Boxer, Buddy. Todd loved the St. Louis Blues, and few things brought him greater joy than to watch his son Dylan play for the Jefferson City Capitals Youth Hockey team. Dylan's service to his country as a Sergeant in the USMC with the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion was a source of tremendous pride for Todd. Todd made a profession of faith at Deerlick Baptist Church, Waynesville, Missouri at a young age. He was baptized in the Gasconade River, beneath the old Crocker Bridge on Highway 17, at the point where the Roubidoux and Gasconade Rivers converge. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Charlene Fancher; two loving step-fathers, Kerry Brown and Charles Fancher; his cousin and childhood companion, Wendi Louise Carroll and childhood friend, Dale Dye. He is survived by his son, Sergeant Dylan Edward Cole (wife Katie); love of his life, Ms. Nikki Small; sister, Lisa Kremer (Gary); niece, Rebecca Dazey (Jeff); and great-nephew, Brennan Ward Dazey. He is also survived by his loving aunt, Ms. Sharon Moseley (William, deceased); cousin, Cindy Herron (Steve); as well as close friend, Charles Thompson (Deanna); and many other cherished friends. He will forever be missed on this earth, but our faith tells us we will be with him again. Go in peace Todd.
