Marilyn Jo Macker, 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at her home. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 21, 1936, to the late Clarence J. Neville and Opal (Dresselhaus) Neville. Marilyn was united in marriage to Robert W. Macker on December 15, 1956, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2010. Marilyn retired from Callaway Community Hospital as an RN. For several years she served as a board member on the Callaway Country Ambulance District. In her spare time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching game shows and spending time with her family. Every week she would have lunch with Ann and would have daily phone conversations with Cathy. She will be fondly remembered by her children, Robert J. Macker (Linda) of St. Louis, Kevin Macker (Melinda) of Fulton, and Betsy Jacob (Pat) of Fulton; grandchildren, Nicole McGinnis (Jacob), Alex McBride (Justin), Jacob Macker (Claire Winter) and Taylor Macker; great- grandchildren, Lucy and Finn McGinnis, Teagan McBride, and one on the way, Ryker McBride. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 13, 2022, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
