Chantelle Jordan Guliana "Duckie" Gianino, 24, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born on January 14, 1998, a daughter to Johnny S. Baker and Tammy D. Jackson in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, girlfriend and friend to many. Chantelle was a 2016 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was truly a people person; she would often perform random acts of kindness, never expecting anything in return. Her dream was to open a relaxing, chill space where people could come and be themselves. She was a huge dreamer and spoke her dreams aloud. She always proclaimed she would win the lottery someday. Her biggest dream in life was to become a wife and mother. She had a pure, positive, and passionate heart for others. Chantelle enjoyed many things in her life. She loved being in nature and was passionate about helping animals. She was a huge foodie, loved cooking and was known to make "bomb ramen" from scratch. She loved traveling; she'd go anywhere for any reason. She was a frequent customer at some of her favorite spots in town including Topical Tans, JC Nutrition and Starbucks. Above all, Chantelle loved her family and friends. She was the "cool aunt" and would be known to always bring gifts back for everyone after her traveling adventures. She was a creative and free spirit; a pure artist who loved crafting and painting. One unique thing she loved doing was making inspirational cards that she would hand out to people at random. She designed a birdhouse, placed a notebook and pens inside, and left it to encourage people to write notes to one another and spread love and positivity. A true entrepreneur and server of her community, the love she had for people is evident in the life she lived. She will be immensely missed by all of those who were blessed to know her sweet and free spirit. Chantelle is survived by her parents, Johnny Baker and Tammy Jackson (Paul Losi); boyfriend and love of her life, Zion Grimes; brother, Terrance Jackson (Jess Sartain); sisters, Kerstan Baker (David Rodebaugh), Meadow Gianino, Cora Losi, Madison Losi, and Kelsey Losi; grandmothers, Betty Blankenship and Delilah Weischmeyer; great-grandmother, Juliann Carver, and many aunts, uncles, three nephews, and two nieces. She was preceded in death by one grandmother, Vickie Baker. Friends will be received on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
