Lori Anne Luebbering, 54, of Westphalia, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on July 31, 1968, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Irvin and Shirley (Mertens) Hoelscher. Lori was united in marriage on December 10, 1988, to Thomas Luebbering at St. Margaret of Antioch Catholic Church in Osage Bend. She was a 1986 graduate of Blair Oaks High School and went on to obtain a nursing degree from Lincoln University. Lori was a devoted nurse and passionate about the work she performed at Capital Region Medical Center. She was a dedicated mother who happily supported her sons in all of their endeavors. Being a grandmother was the joy of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lori is survived by her husband, Thomas Luebbering; parents, Irvin and Shirley Hoelscher; sons, Zachary Luebbering (Jessica) and Nathan Luebbering; brother, Danny Hoelscher (Angie); three grandchildren, Penelope Blair Luebbering, Prescott Brady Luebbering, and Piper Belle Luebbering; niece, Abby Hoelscher; and nephew, Ben Hoelscher. Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hilke - Millard Funeral Chapel, Westphalia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Dylan Schrader officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Capital Region Foundation.
