She was married on March 7, 1953, to James Lawrence (Larry) Hamilton, who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Jefferson City. Anita worked as a LPN at St. Mary's Hospital for some time after graduation from St. Peters High School. She held many memories of her and her husband's travel as well as the opportunities of living internationally outside America, making life as interesting and rewarding as one could hope to experience. She will be remembered by all as a special, kind, caring person by family and friends which were always happy to see her turn the corner each and every visit. Survivors include two sons, Steven F. McDaniel of Houston, Texas, and Larry Hamilton and wife Tanya of Hudson Beach, Fla.; two granddaughters, Leighann Bailie and husband Bobby of Woodlands, Texas, and Lindsay Rains of Norman, Okla.; twin great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; one step-granddaughter, Iryna McNaught and husband John of Billings, Mont.; two brothers, Joe Mengwasser and wife Camilla of Pennsylvania and Clarence Mengwasser of Wisconsin.
