Joseph Jr. Clarence Bosch

Joseph Clarence Bosch Jr., 78, of Jefferson City, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born on May 10, 1943, in Jefferson City, a son of Joseph Sr. and Lorraine (Schulte) Bosch. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Stevens on October 10, 2003, in Jefferson City. He was a 1961 graduate of Helias High School. Soon after graduation Joe joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1964. For over 30 years he was a car salesman in the Jefferson City area. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, listening to country music and Saturday night dance lessons. Joe was a faithful member of the Samuel F. Gearhart Detachment, Marine Corps League. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Joe is survived by his wife, Kathy Bosch; children, Joe Bosch III (Teri), Arla Simpson (Bob) and Jason Bosch (Suzie); step-children, Stephanie Bailey (Jake) and Jason Boschert (Shelly); siblings, Sandra Amend, Susan Bosch, Carolyn Welschmeyer, Dennis Bosch (Anne), Christopher Bosch (Barbara) and Jeanie Boeckman (Michael); 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Sr. and Lorraine Bosch; sisters, Elizabeth Nilges and Michele Bosch; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Nilges and Carl Amend. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2021, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with a Prayer Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
