Janice Dale Heimericks

Janice Dale Heimericks, 64, of Henley, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born August 23, 1956, in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of the late Donald and Clara Louise (Duensing) Powell. On August 27, 1977, in Jefferson City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Bernie Heimericks who survives of the home. Other survivors include: sons, Brian Heimericks of Henley, Mo., Brad Heimericks (Rachel) of Koeltztown, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jacob Bax, Clara Heimericks, Carson Heimericks and Heidi Heimericks; siblings, Jean Luadzers (David) of Jefferson City, Mo., Bob Powell (Linda) of San Jose, Calif., Richard Powell (Pat) of Sparta, Mich. Janice was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church of Marys Home, Mo. where she served as a 5th and 6th grade PSR teacher. She enjoyed quilting and embroidery work, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Fellowship Hall. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church with Rev. Callistus C. Okoroji officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church or Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
