Larry "Wacky" Reynolds, 75, of Chamois, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at the farm. He was born on August 23, 1945 in Chamois, a son of the late Elliott and Hilda (Kramer) Reynolds. He was a 1963 graduate of Osage County R-1 in Chamois. He joined the union and learned the skill of operating heavy equipment. Wacky was an extremely skilled operator and over the years had become a legend for his accomplishments with whatever machine he was sitting behind. Wacky was employed as a crane operator for over 40 years and retired in 2012 from Scott's Crane Rental in Holts Summit. He loved working cattle on the farm, riding around on equipment, Can-Am rides, deer hunting, cocktails, talking bullshit, mushroom hunting, gardening, canning, fishing on the river and of course, fish fries. Wacky loved playing poker and he would remind everyone that he was the most "gooderist" player that ever was. Having a good time with his family and friends was important to him and they will greatly miss all the special moments he brought to their lives. Wacky gave the gift of life through organ donation. Wacky is survived by his children: Travis Reynolds (Rhonda), Kimberly Irvin (Kyle) and Tiffany Reynolds-Richardson (Ronny); brother: Gary Reynolds (Paulette); sister-in-law: Gerri Reynolds; grandchildren: Ashley Arnett, Lindsey Reynolds, Amber Duenkel, Miranda Reynolds, Samantha Reynolds, Hayden Irvin, Madison Irvin, Jackson Richardson; great-grandchildren: Kayla, Alice, Harley, Aubree, Abigail, and Kinley; a host of nieces and nephews; the Hillman family and many honorary sons, daughters and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Raymond and Dennis Reynolds; grandson: Jacob Reynolds; and legendary pup, Annie. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Linn. Private family funeral services will be held at a later date.
