Alyce A. Becklenberg, 70, of Holts Summit, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. She was born September 10, 1950, in Los Angeles, California, a daughter of the late John and Martha (Wilson) Deitz. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Becklenberg on May 10, 1969 in Chamois. She was a 1968 graduate of Chamois High School. Soon after her marriage she began working for Central Bank and retired in 2008 after 39 years of dedicated service. Alyce enjoyed making crafts, was a talented seamstress and quilter and according to her family, the best baker. Alyce also liked going to casinos and trying her luck at the slot machines. Most of all she loved her beautiful family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed. Alyce is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lawrence Becklenberg; children, Christopher Becklenberg (Lori) of Chesterfield and Jessica Becklenberg of Holts Summit; grandchildren, Sophia, Zoey and August Becklenberg; one brother, Tommy Banta of the state of California; and special uncle, Rodney Wilson (Rhonda) of Belle. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael and Pat Callihan; Elaine Gilbert; John, Jack and Sam Deitz. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Prayer Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with interment following in Chamois Catholic Cemetery.
