Bernice Louise Nolan, age 95, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Adams Street Place. She was born on October 8, 1925 in Elvins, Mo., the daughter of Everett D. and Belle L. (Barnett) Jenkins. She was married on November 3, 1971 in St. Francis County, Mo. to Charles Nolan, who preceded her in death on August 20, 1988. Bernice graduated from high school in Elvins, Mo. then went on to work for U.S. Tool Factory for the next several years refurbishing tools. Bernice was a great mother and was the rock of her family. She was a go getter, never wanted to be idle and always kept a very neat and tidy home. She even loved to iron. She enjoyed reading and working on word searches to keep her mind sharp. She liked having everything in its rightful place and had many quirks that her family will remember with a smile. To Bernice, nothing was more important than her family. She had a way of making everyone she spoke to feel like they were the most important person in the world. Everyone was incredibly special to her and she cherished the relationships she built with each of them. She was known to be a minimalist and never wanted more that she needed. Bernice attended Masses at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Bernice radiated pure love - she truly lived her life with the intention of leaving the world in a better state than she found it, and she was successful in that pursuit. The love she poured out to her family and others will live on in the memories of all who knew her. Survivors include: her son, Robert Morice Jr. (Linda) of Lake Ozark, Mo.; her son-in-law, Bill Weitzel of Jefferson City, Mo.; her grandchildren, Brian Sebastian (Sandy) of Jefferson City, Mo., Gina Engelbrecht (Rick) of Jefferson City, Mo., Todd Morice (Angie) of Russellville, Mo., Nikki Cole of Jefferson City, Mo., Scott Morice (Denise) of St. Charles, Mo., Mellissa Nivens (Chad) of Jefferson City, Mo., Patricia Jarvis of Jefferson City, Mo., and Chris Hord (Betty) Boonville, Mo.; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Pruitt, Magen Sebastian, Alisha Dickson (Tyler), Chelsea Steele, Jacob Pruitt (Sarah), Tanner Steele (Esther), Jereme Sebastian (Kenzie), Rachel Kosark (Sam), Lindsey Morice, Sydney Nivens, Nick Morice, Sophey Nivens, Grace Cole, Sadie Nivens, Cody Jarvis, Kyle Jarvis, Dalton Foster; and her great-great-grandchildren, Willow Sebastian, Isaiah Weitzel, Kingston Adams, Harper Dickson, Izzy Pruitt, Saphire Steele, Tara Jarvis, and Kenzie Jarvis.
