Danny Lee Hornberger

Danny Lee Hornberger, age 72, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. Danny was born April 5, 1948, the son of Margart Cosllet Barnhouse and Bob Barnhouse. Danny was a two-year veteran of the United States Army. He hooked up Huey helicopters. His hobbies were fishing and family gatherings. He loved flirting with all of his girlfriends. He enjoyed watching Cheaters, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider and Walker Texas Ranger. He fell in love with his finance's dog, Snow White and his cat, Bootsy. He is survived by his fiancée of seven years, Joyce Ann Brockes; three sons, Eric Garlick of St. Louis, Mo., Aaron and wife Rachelle Garlock of Kansas City, Mo., Gilbert Phillips of Jefferson City, Mo.; sister, Lisa Phillips of Jefferson City, Mo.; two daughters, Dawn Mitchell and husband Scott of Alton, Ill. and Jamie Hornberger of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Ivy Kathleen Corter of Little Rock, Arkansas and Debra (Debbie) Barnhouse of the state of Kansas; five grandchildren, Brandon Million, Ashley Garlick, Hailey Million, Nimaway Garlick and Galeia Garlick; special friends, Desiree Montavy, Ernest Montavy, Barb Nash, Patricia Sipes, Micheal Christian, Barb Moore, Lisa Phillips, Martha O'Brien, M&M Auto Sales and Rent-A-Center. A Memorial Service will be held at Bible Baptist Church, 4730 Country Club Dr., Jefferson City, Mo. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Brian Bussey officiating the service.
