Margaret M. Hartman, 88, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born on June 9, 1932, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late William and Adestie (La Faver) Dooling. Margaret was united in marriage on September 27, 1958, to Robert Hartman, who preceded her in death in 2015. Margaret was a graduate of New Bloomfield High School. She worked for local factories but her passion was to stay home and take care of her family. Margaret was an excellent cook and enjoyed being outdoors tending to her garden and flowers. Most of all, she cherished the memories of times spent with her family. She is survived by her son: Gary Hartman (Debra) of California; grandchildren: Heather Singer (Michael), Lauren Wolters (Jordan) and Ryan Hartman, great-grandchildren: Lacey, Tara, Jodi, Olivia and a great-grandson on the way; brother: Jerry Dooling (Janice Branch) of Holts Summit; sisters: Catherine Nichols and Shirley Smith, both of Holts Summit and sister-in-law: Pat Drinkard. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, daughter: Adestie Rae Hartman; granddaughter: Jessica Hartman; brother: William Dooling; sisters: Dorothy Branch and Mary Hatting and sister-in-law: Willie Lee Branch. Friends will be received from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
