Lois Frances Luetkemeyer, 91, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born October 30, 1929 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Louis Bernard and Agnes Frances (Clark) DeWesplore. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Peter High School. Lois was united in marriage on October 8, 1949, in Jefferson City to Urban Bernard Luetkemeyer, who preceded her in death on June 24, 2008. Lois co-owned and operated with her husband the Luetkemeyer AG in Apache Flats. In later years, she was the bakery manager for Gerbes West and worked at Discovery Place Day Care. She was a faithful member of St. Martin Catholic Church. Lois enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Cardinals, and cutting her grass with her John Deere riding lawn mower. Her favorite times were with her family, enjoying her grandchildren's sporting events or activities. She never wanted to miss a family event. Survivors include eight children: Jane McKim, Jefferson City; John (Dorothy) Luetkemeyer; Kennan Luetkemeyer, McGirk; Jackie (Tim) Steuber, Jefferson City; Tom (Lynn) Luetkemeyer, Falling Waters, West Virginia; Susie (Ken) Theroff, Jefferson City; Sally (Mike) Brewer, Chickamauga, Georgia; Dianne (Jerry) Luebbert, Jefferson City; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, James B. (Alice) DeWesplore, Wardsville. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Debbie Luetkemeyer; son-in-law, Jean McKim; sisters, Beatrice Coffey and Lola Deuser; and one brother, John DeWesplore. Private visitation will be 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at St. Martin Catholic Church. Private Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Jason Doke officiating.
