Mary Margaret (Tedford) Ferrin, age 93, of Brazito, Mo., passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Stonebridge Villa Marie Nursing Home. Mary was born August 30, 1927 in Fort Calhoun, Neb., the daughter of Charlie and Mary Smith Tedford, both of whom preceded her in death. She attended Smiley School and graduated high school in Stover, Mo. She was in the Nurse's Corp at Bothwell Hospital in Boonville, Mo. where she met her husband, Glen Ferrin, as he returned from World War 11. On October 27, 1946 they were married at the Methodist Church in Versailles, Mo. She retired from the International Shoe Company to spend time on the farm with her husband. Mary was a member of the Hickory Hill Baptist Church, Eugene, Mo. She loved quilting and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered. Survivors include: one son, Gerald Ferrin and his wife Shirley of Eugene, Mo.; one daughter, Sue Hoskins and her husband Wilburn of Henley, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Gable of Akron, Iowa and Shirley Shannon of Lewis, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Richard; brothers, Robert Tedford and Donald Tedford; and one sister, Ruth Chesmore. Private family service will be Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Weber Funeral Home, Russellville, Mo. with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by pastor Steve Hogard. Burial will be in the Big Rock Cemetery. Family has requested to wear face mask and social distancing be honored. Memorials are suggested to Hickory Hill Baptist Church, 12729 United Rd., Eugene, MO 65032. Arrangements are under the direction of Weber Funeral Home, Russellville, Mo. WeberFuneralHome.net
