Paul Hoellering, age 84, entered his heavenly home on October 29, 2020, at his home near California, Mo., with family by his side. Paul was born in the family home, north of California, Mo., to Herman Hoellering and Lydia (Reichel) Hoellering. Paul attended California High School. On June 15, 1955, in St. Martins, Mo., Paul married Myrene (Hurst) Hoellering, who survives of the home. Paul was a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church, a lifetime farmer, served on the boards of Highland Mutual Insurance, MFA Oil Company, MFA Agriculture Service, Moniteau County Soil and Water Board, Prairie Home Coop, and the Moniteau County Cattlemen's Association. He was a member of the Moniteau County Sportsman Club; and was also a lifetime blood donor. Paul enjoyed serving on these boards and visiting with friends in the community. His biggest enjoyment was time spent with his family and loved ones. He worked hard and enjoyed life on the farm, with his years of hunting and trapping. Along with his wife, Paul is survived by five children: Karen Hoellering of Jefferson City; David (Mary Lou) Hoellering, Dale Hoellering, Marla (Jeff) Wright and Darrell (Tammy) Hoellering, all of California, Mo. 16 grandchildren: Zachary Seidner, Sara Green, Bethany Harris, D.J. Hoellering, Justin Hoellering, Jason Hoellering, Amy Reed, Angie Crabtree, John Ashley, Austin Ashley, Kurtis Ashley, Clint Hoellering, Jacob Hoellering, Hayden Hoellering, and several step-grandchildren. He has numerous great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ann Clennin of California, Mo. Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother Robert Dean Hoellering and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. The family wants to extend their sincere appreciation to the caregivers who made it possible for him to remain in the home with his wife, kids and grandkids. Visitation will be held Sunday evening at the Windmill Ridge Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. and then on Monday morning at the Annunciation Catholic church from 10-11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at the Annunciation Catholic Church with Rev.
