Barbara Ann Pinney-Plummer

Barbara Ann Pinney-Plummer, 77, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on November 8, 1942 in Bonham, Texas, a daughter of the late Dawson and Beatrice (Allen) Pinney. Barbara was united in marriage on March 10, 1990 to David Plummer at the Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Jefferson City. Barbara was a 1960 graduate of Boswarth High School. She earned her Bacehlor's of Science degree in Sociology from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Barbara was the training coordinator for the Missouri Division of Aging from 1966 until her retirement in 1996. She and David owned and operated Huber's Ferry Bed and Breakfast for over 18 years. Barbara was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and running and was a member of the Jefferson City Road Runners. She is survived by her husband, David Plummer of the home; brothers: William Pinney (Joyce) of Liberty and Barry Pinney (Laura) of Lee's Summit; sisters-in-law: Donna Pinney and Judy Stewart (William) of San Diego, California. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Robert Pinney. In respect of Barbara's wishes, no services will be held. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
