Daniel J. Hendricks

Daniel J. Hendricks, 85, of Jefferson City, Missouri,passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Brunswick Nursing and Rehab. He was born March 1, 1935, in Omaha, Nebraska. Dan was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Holts Summit, Missouri. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Heat and Frost Insulators, Asbestos Workers and the Eagles Club. He enjoyed cars and loved to travel, especially to visit with his children and grandkids. Dan is survived by his wife, who resides at the home Thelma Gemeinhardt Distler Hendricks; children: Brian Hendricks (Leanne) of Huntington Beach, California, Joel Hendricks (Kamie) of Huntington Beach, California and Lisa Hendricks of Texas; step-children: Jodi Englehart (David) of Saint Peters, Missouri, Tony Distler (Becky) of Falkville, Alabama, Gay Lynn Meanser (Reggie) of Saint Louis, Tim Distler of Columbia, Missouri and Myra Galla of Jefferson City, Missouri. Dan was proud of his 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Cynthia Hendricks; stepdaughter and her husband: Nancy and Philip Richway and grandson Jeffrey Richway. A private family service will be held in Holts Summit, Missouri. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Andrews Catholic Church or to the American Alzheimer's Association.
