Sharon Lee Hodges, 74, of Joplin, Mo., passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at her residence. She was born May 9, 1946, in Jefferson City, Mo. She is survived by her son, Tim Beck and wife Donna of Lufkin, Texas; daughter, Dyan Beck of Olathe, Kan.; daughter, Dona Stephenson of Watkinsville, Ga.; brother, Leland Hodges of Jefferson City; sister, Jo Sullivan of Wyandotte, Okla.; and three grandchildren, Thomye Stephenson of Monroe, Utah, Alyx Mediavilla of Lawrence, Kan. and Deric Stephenson of Watkinsville, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Myrtle Hodges. Expressions of sympathy may be made in honor of Sharon to Alphapointe, a nonprofit for the visually impaired, at Alphapointe.org. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
