Ronald Dean Lamm

Ronald Dean Lamm, 67, of California, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 29, 1952 in Omaha, Neb., the son of Clarence Dean Lamm and Wilma Lee (Kidwell) Lamm, both of whom preceded him in death. Ronald was united in marriage on April 14, 2001 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church near Clarksburg, Mo. to Pamela (Sapp) Lamm, who survives of the home. He worked as a correctional officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections until retiring in 2014 and he was also an auctioneer. He loved and raised his registered Nubian goats. Ronald was a member of the Dairy Goat Association. He also raised registered breeds of dogs. Ronald enjoyed farming and Jacob's Cave swap meets. Most of all he loved his family very much. Survivors include six daughters: Charity Epple of Jefferson City, Mo., Amber Welch (Jeremy) of California, Mo., Carissa Balderas (Tano) of California, Mo., Ashley Martinez (Augustine) of Indianapolis, Ind., Albanie Gililland (Nathan) of California, Mo., Cyra Sapp of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Kade Sapp of California, Mo.; one sister, Charlotte "Susie" Napier (John) of Jefferson City, Mo.; seven granddaughters and two grandsons He was preceded in death by one sister, Bessie Rennert, and one infant brother. The family would like to thank the ICU nurses and staff of Capital Region Hospital, University Hospital, and Oak Tree Villa, local ambulance services, and Hospice Compassus. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to donor's choice, c/o the funeral home.
