Michael Ray Ousley, 63, of Eugene, passed away on Monday 30, 2020 at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on October 29, 1956 in Jefferson City, a son of the late Carl and Nellie (Reed) Ousley. Mike attended Jefferson City High School. He retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was currently employed by Railwood Golf Course and Rainbow. He also volunteered at Capital Region Medical Center. Mike's greatest joy was out on the golf course. He also enjoyed fishing, watching and attending sports, making people laugh, and hanging out with his McDonald's gang. Mike took joy in spending time with his two granddaughters. Also, he treasured the memories created with family. He is survived by his ex-wife: Debbie Ousley; children: Staci Ousley, Chris (Amanda) Ousley, Matthew (Jaclyn) Ousley, Ashley (Eric) Waldrop, Michael Melton, Dawn Rader and Dennis Morgan; siblings: William (Betty) Ousley, H. Carl Lee (Janet) Ousley, Sally (Bernie) Clark, Harold (Carolyn) Ousley, Richard (Bernadine) Ousley, Earl Ousley, and Lawrence (Belinda) Ousley; grandchildren: Mariah, Austin, Trent, Devin, Skyler, Tristen, Riley, Harper, Elijah, Alexis, Layden, Jamie, Damon, Dolan, Brittany (Levi), and Hannah. Mike was preceded in death by his sister: Donna Hammond. In keeping with the guidelines of the CDC, the family will be holding a private service and a celebration of Michael's life at a later date. Friends can be received from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. When you come on the parking lot at the funeral home you will remain in your car and be directed around to the front Portico at Houser Millard Funeral Home. You will be shown where to stop under the Portico to view through the picture window. This will help accommodate family and friends in a safe manner and will be a way to show your respect in these unusual times. You may take a Memorial Service Folder and leave a personalized message for family through video streaming.
