William Dewey Heinrich, 70, of Jefferson City, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 27, 2017, at his home. He was born on October 8, 1946, in Fulton, Missouri, the son of Charles "Jack" and Ruth B. (Bridges) Heinrich, who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on September 17, 1987, in Fulton, Missouri to Deborah Hedges, who survives of the home. He was employed as a Police Officer with the Jefferson City Police Department from 1963 until his retirement in 1993. William enjoyed playing Bingo and trying "Lady Luck" at various Casinos. He enjoyed the peace the outdoor brings while fishing and working on classic cars and trucks. Most of all, he loved his family and the memories they made will be cherished. He is also survived by: four sons: William (Crissie) Heinrich of St. George, Utah, Steven (Beth) Heinrich of Columbia, Bradley (Crystal) Heinrich of Jefferson City and Kevin (Jamie) Heinrich of Jefferson City; one daughter: Deanna (Owen) Kenney of the state of Montana; three step-sons: Timothy (Renee) Gill of Jefferson City, Mark (Susie) Mills of Jefferson City and Daniel (Dana) Mills of Jefferson City; four brothers: Larry (Janice) Jones of Kansas City, Daniel (Debra) Heinrich of Taos, Donald (Peggy) Heinrich of Jefferson City and Edward (Barb) Heinrich of Tebbetts; one aunt: Helen (Bridges) Bradley; 29 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and his favorite companion, Princess who he affectionately called, Pug. He was also preceded in death by two granddaughters: Emily Marie Mills and Brianna Marie Mills and one grandson: Christopher Tyler Gill. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Houser-Millard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Skiles officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
