Marvin Leslie "Dig" Frazer, 50, formerly of the Jefferson City area, went to be with the Lord suddenly, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at his residence. He was born on October 14, 1965, in Jerseyville, and was the youngest child born to Marvin Herbert and Betty Jean (McAdams) Frazer. Marvin grew up in the Jerseyville area, and was a 1983 graduate of Jersey Community High School. He was a resident of the Jefferson City, Mo area for many years, where he was involved in the construction trades, owning and operating Frazer Construction and Greystone Foundations, before returning to the area in 2014, where he continued to work in the trade. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, and mushroomin', especially with his son, Logan and will be greatly missed by his many family and friends. He was formerly married to Trisha Haymart, and together they were the parents of their two children. Surviving are his father, Marvin H. Frazer of Jerseyville; a daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Damien Adrian of St. Charles, Mo.; a son, Logan Frazer of Fieldon; a brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Kim Frazer of Jerseyville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Randy Manning of St. Louis, Mo., Hope and Greg Bradley of Hartsburg, Mo., Tina and Eric Trisler of Jerseyville; his best friend, Greg Blackorby of Jerseyville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Frazer; and an infant sister, Jeane Frazer. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Saturday at the Hope Lutheran Church in Jerseyville, with Rev. Brett Simekofficiating. Burial will take place in the Noble Cemetery in Otterville.
